Hayley has many years experience of in running a business as well as managing payrolls of a myriad of sizes and software.
The idea of providing payroll services came from known business contacts approaching Hayley wanting to find a quality payroll solution for their business, who didn't have the time or skills to run a payroll for themselves in-house. Hayley's background in office management, financial control and payroll before starting her own business was invaluable, utilising all these skills to offer a supportive role to clients beyond payroll, as well as to her own business, with an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing SME's.
Hayley keeps up with legislative changes in payroll and automatic enrolment pensions and is our go-to expert on all things payroll and pensions, and has many nicknames within the team from the Payroll Oracle to the Payroll Yoda. Over the years, Hayley has imparted her knowledge to payroll software developers to assist in improving software features/modules, functionality and compliance.
Once the youngest in the business, after 23 years now the eldest, Hayley is looking to the future and loves to develop the next generation of payroll professionals/specialists.
Hayley's payroll knowledge and experience meant she gained full membership with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) since 2001.

Abigail prefers to be known as Abbie, joined the company in June 2023 on a part-time basis, to be able to support the team in all things admin to keep us on the straight and narrow and allow the payroll team to focus more on payroll matters.
Abbie assists in managing our sales ledger, marketing, anti-money laundering tasks, data protection, and other general administration.
Since joining us Abbie has caught the payroll bug and is studying the Payroll Administration Apprenticeship (Level 3) this extended her role to a full-time position from Septemeber 2023.

Richard joined the team in March 2016 with 2 years' experience of in a payroll environment already under his belt. Richard obtained his IAB Level 2 Payroll qualification in his first year at Biznus Payroll and continues to develop and grow his knowledge of the latest payroll legislation and workplace pensions to best support our client payrolls.
In January 2024, Richard was promoted to Team Supervisor and Senior Account Manager as a result of his continued dedication to personal and professional development. Richard will oversee his team's professional and technical development in payroll, whilst continuing to deliver a high standard of service our clients deserve.

Andrea joined the team in October 2018 and was in the final year of study with her CIPP Foundation Payroll Degree, which she has since successfully completed.
Andrea has a 'can do' attitude regardless of what payroll conundrums clients may pass her way. Having continued with part-time studies completing a Business Management degree, in January 2024 was promoted to Team Supervisor and Senior Account Manager, helping to mentor her team members and see those studying for their professional qualifications are successful, whilst overseeing the high standard of service we provide our clients is uninterrupted.

Mya joined us in March 2021 to start an 18-month Payroll Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship. Mya settled in well and got off to a flying start and quickly progressed through her coursework whilst supporting the Payroll Account Managers in all areas of payroll administration and processing.
Having successfully completed the payroll apprenticeship Mya is now branching out into Client Payroll Management and has recently been promoted to Payroll Technician through her continued commitment to CPD and developing her all-round technical knowledge of payroll, benefits in kind, national minimum wage and automatic enrolment pensions to be able to support clients through some more complex pay arrangements.

Jackson joined the company in April 2022 on our school leaver apprenticeship scheme. Jackson settled in very quickly and loves nothing more than getting his teeth into manual payroll calculations and processing.
Jackson successfully passed his payroll apprenticeship assessments and exams in late November 2023, completing his Level 3 qualification in Payroll Administration. We are delighted that Jackson wants to continue his professional and technical development in payroll with Biznus Payroll.

Michael joined the Biznus Payroll in late August 2023 as he embarked on his 18-month Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship (Level 3), with gusto! Michael has taken to the manual calculations like a duck to water, grasping very quickly how tax codes, age, NI categories and other circumstances can affect your level of pay and statutory deductions.
